Brewed on a Triple Brew Weekend, we picked up this kit from our LHBS, Anyuway Hydroponics. This is Beer #2 of our brewing marathon leading up to the Beer Sessions.
We wanted to be able to provide an example of what an extract kit can do, so we followed the recipe and instructions to a T. This brew serves as a reminder that everyone can be a goober at times: The brewer failed to properly mix the chilled wort and top-up water, so the Original Gravity reading was 0.020 points higher than expected. whoopsie. So, the actual ABV is a bit of a question on this one.
We did split this batch in half for the Strawberry Cream Ale.
